This Android BSP testing project includes testing activities for entire Android framework, from lowest device layer to upper application layer. Our test engineers covered most of functional HW domains using specialized wireless testing equipment.
Rhonda has significant experience in testing of Motorola handsets based on MSM7k Qualcomm multiprocessor chipsets and Android platform (1.5, 1.6 and 2.0). Those handsets were designed for US/LATAM/Europe operators (T-Mobile, AT&T, Orange, TIM and other). Most of our testing activities are focused on kernel/drivers and HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), but they cover upper layers of Android framework and applications as well. Rhonda engineers developed around 4000 test cases. Types of testing:
- Sanity,
- Integration,
- Feature/Functional,
- Certification,
- Performance,
- Stress,
- Conformance,
- Bring up support and so on.
